First, my original query:
>Hey, managers
>
>We recently purchased an 8200 and I have a couple of questions I hope
>other 8200 admins can answer regarding the uerf util.
>
>In the uerf, it reports the CPU TYPE as a DEC 7000. Is this correct?
>
>Every so often I get an error from uerf "Error reading syserr file.".
>What is this?
>
>It's running DEC Unix 4.0D.
Answers came from alan_at_nabeth.cxo.dec.com and Doug.Pajtas_at_mci.com. The
uerf utility had stopped being maintained before the 8200 was released.
Instead, use DECevent (dia).
The problem with the syserr file was file permissions.
Thanks, dudes!
