I am in the process of configuring NSR to backup several Unix clients to a
specific NSR server. What I have been doing when I set up the client
configurations is to have them backup all the files on the client's file
systems. What I would prefer to do is exclude a few files from the mix
that I don't want backed up. For example, I see no reason to back up core
files and I would also like to exclude certain directories and partitions
from being dumped. Neither the release notes nor the documentation for NSR
explains how to do this other than specifically stating everything that
should be backed up instead of coding "All" in the Save set section (which
is far from a good solution). If anyone has an ideas on how to accomplish
this without identifying each specific item that I want included in the
Save set, I would appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks
