I have an Alphastation 500 with an external 68pin Wide SCSI connector.

I'd like to connect to an external DAT tape unit (TLZ-06) with a 50pin
centronics connector. Attempts via a 3rd party cable have not
succeeded, however we were able to connect to an external SCSI disk pack
successfully.

We had an Digital engineer investigate and he advised that the only DAT
drive supported on the Alphastation 500 was the internal TLZ09. Is this
the case? What about DLT drives, are they able to be accessed via the
external SCSI connector?
