SUMMARY: Users do not see pwd_expiration message

My question was:

How can I force users to acknowledge the password expiration message during
login. My problem is that the message disappears quickly before opening the
Progress database. Our users telnet to the Alpha to connect to the database.

The database is opened via each user's .profile file. We use C2 security and
DecUnix3.2.

Thanks to Steve Copeland with the following reply:

"One can insert a sleep command into their profiles or into the /etc/profile
(sh/ksh) or /etc/csh.login (csh) before any other command that modifies their
screen display, it may give them long enough to read the login messages. "

He also supplied a script to check password expiry date and force a change if
required.
