Hardware: video card change

Managers

We are about to remove a Power storm 3D30 (8 plane colour ) video card
from a PW 433 DU4.0d and replace it with a Power storm 4D20 (24 plane
colour).

After the physical installation do we need to boot off genvmunix and
rebuild the kernel etc?
