Summary: advfs problems

Thanks to Dr. Tom Blinn for the following:

If you can, unmount all the filesets in the domain on the failed volumes.
If you can't, you'll have to reboot -- first remove the entries for each of
the filesets in /etc/fstab (or comment them out). You only need to do this
if you are going to reboot.

Once the filesets are unmounted, remove the entire directory in /etc/fdmns
that corresponds to the failed domain. Use rm -rf to do this; you want to
remove the entire evidence the domain existed.

Then physically remove the failed disk or disks and install the good disk
you will use.

Then use disklabel to label the disk and mkfdmn to recreate the domain on
the
new disk, then use mkfset to recreate the filesets. Then mount the
filesets
and use vrestore to restore the files.
