Question :
Hi All,
After rebuilding my kernel (for unrelated matter)
xntpd won't start with the following error :
"xntpd[5236]: Clock init couldn't find kernel object file"
in the daemon.log .
I've compared the traces and kernel config file with
another machine on which it runs OK and they are both the same .
ANSWER :
It certainly looks like a bug / hiccup .
After doing a cold start of the machine
it came up OK .
I had upgraded the firmware & kernel so maybe
that is the instigator of the problem as some of the
others had had the same thing happen .
