Just received a message from Pirie Hart [pirie_at_u.washington.edu] who has a
copy of the CD. It came with the V3.2B DEC OSF/1 OS media. The part number
is AG-QBX6A-XE and it is dated September 1994. In the docs for the program
the user is referred to BBC.COM. It looks like pvhp_at_forte.com (Peter
Prymmer) was dead on with his reference.
I contacted BBC and got a quick reply back. Current price for vbackup is
$2,995US.
