I apologize for the delay in my response. To part one of my question, I
received a few opinions about Digital UNIX has been taking market share
from SUN, HP, etc. Some hard numbers came from Dr. Ram Rao of
Compaq in a report I have attached to this document (unixdoc.htm).
In the UNIX vs. NT, all my responses pointed to
www.kirch.net/unix-nt.html. I had already read this document when it
was posted to the list this summer. If you have not read the document,
take ten minutes and do so. It is well done and should help in any attempt
by management to force NT into your domain.
