Question was:
1. which list of "well known ports" should be taken as a reference
respectivly, is there anyone (IANA???) who provides a valid list, which
could be copied into /etc/services?
2. we found that the services "echo" and "time" are both occupying the
same port number for "tcp" as well as for "udp" (echo 7/tcp/udp - time
7/tcp/udp) Is this correct

the port numbers for "echo" and "time" should be:
echo is 7/tcp and 7/udp, time is 37/tcp and 37/udp.
