Halt button on 164LX

Hi,

I have a problem with the halt button on 164LX motherboard.
My OS is Digital UNIX 4.0D. When I press the halt button
while Digital UNIX is running, the mouse pointer freezes and
then I can't do anything but press the reset button to reboot.
How can I manage the halt button to function ? When I press
the halt button on Digital AlphaServer, I get the SRM console
prompt.....
