Hello,
I just install via DEC freeware CD and also compiled myself the latest
version of monitor. Unfortunate it will not work correctly on the 8400.
The 8400 has UNIX 4.0B installed. 3 pairs of 5/440, 2 G, and two dual
redundant HSZ50 controllers. There are 11 disks on the system, all from
the HSZ50s.
When I run the program it core dumps. No other messages. BUT when I
invoke it with a magnify option it works for all options EXCEPT for
disks, which is the option I really want.
prompt> monitor
Memory fault(coredump)
prompt> monitor -magnify disk
Memory fault(coredump)
prompt> monitor -magnify memory #
or cpu tty free swap etc works successfully
Does anyone have any ideas ?
