Hello All,
netstat -in supplies the following data for machine a:
Name Mtu Network Address Ipkts Ierrs Opkts Oerrs
tu0 1500 <Link> 00:00:f8:02:22:10 1437261 23947 638511 0
Coll = 0
Are the Ierrs an unacceptable percentage (~1.7%). Shouldn't they be near
0? Machine b is on the same network and the error rate is about 3.3% (this
I observed over a 1/2 hour span - during that time I was trying to ftp
between this machine (b) and another (Machine c) on the same physical
network (different logically) and it was so slow the connection dropped).
What are some possible causes of this problem? What other diagnostics
might I perform?
I know this is not much info to go on, but I'm pretty new to this and I
don't know what other info would be useful.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
Rob
