Getting back to the console >>>

Hi,
I made a terrible mistake of setting console to serial and rebooting
Alphaserver400.
One way to get back and correct it is by a terminal, which I
don't have (got this from AS800 UG).
The other way is using the Fail-Safe Loader.
I was able to find Alphaserver 800 Users Guide but not for 400.
Can someone point me to a site with Alphaserver 400 Users Guide
or help me get back to the console prompt >>> pls.
