setting up DECnet

To all it may concern,

I have two network cards installed on my DEC1000a server, one of which is currently
connected to ethernet, the other I hope to setup a DECnet connection. I have a
DECnet number, but what must I do to insure that I am talking DECnet, and what if
any are the requirements in setting it up?
