Help with Digital VAX/VMS

Hello all,

I thought I take my chances and give it a shot here to see if anyone out
there might be able to help me.

I'm a unix system's administrator but was given the task of breaking into a
Digital VAX 4000-400 running version 5.0 VMS.

Does anyone know how to break into the system so we can change the root
(administrator) password so that we can access old archived data.

I appreciate any help on the matter.
