We currently have a APC SmartUPS 1400 hooked up to our DU4.0D server
and I would like to know if there are any shareware/freeware/built-in
pieces of software out there that would be able to interract with the
UPS. I've looked at the description of PowerChute Plus on the APC
site but it seems like overkill. We just want basic controlling and
monitoring of the UPS. Is there a cheaper/quicker solution out
there? I browsed throught the DEC manuals but I didn't see anything
built into the OS.
