backup/restore recommendations

I'm looking for a good program that will allow me to reliably backup my
file system, but also allow me to do a restore from basicly a dead system,
ie if the whole thing was whiped I'd be able to just do a full restore.

Currently I'm using BRU for a lot of file archiving, but it's ability to
restore a complete system is rather minimal.

Basicly, if a machine was to be run over by a truck, i'd like to build the
entire thing back quickly to the state at backup.

Thanks :-)
