There seems to be a consensus that it the dvices are /dev/tty00 and
/dev/tty01.

I don't know about an AS4100 but on our au series PWSs the
COM ports are /dev/tty00 and /dev/tty01.

Depends from site to site and from UNIX to UNIX, but in general you'll
want /dev/tty1 or /dev/tty0 to talk directly out one of the serial
ports.
