Hi all,
Thanks to all who answered my query so quickly. Because of the response I
don't have time to list the 30 or so people who took the time to respond.
My original email is below. The short and long was I had installed my ADVFS
license and I couldn't find the addvol program. I has advised that not all
the ADVFS programs are installed with the base system, you have to obtain
them from the "AdvFS_Advanced_Utilities" file set on the "Associated
Products Volume 2" disk. The procedure to add this subset is:
Mount the cd on your system "mount -r /dev/rz6a /mnt" (the device will
very)
change to the subset directory "cd /mnt/Advanced_Server/kit"
install the subset with setld "setld -l ." (the '.' can be replaced with
the location of the subset, this also makes the 'cd' above unneeded.).
And that's it, the addvol is in "/usr/sbin/".
Thanks again.
