Strange syscall hang on /vmunix (DU4.0D)

Hi,

 I have a strange problem on DU4.0D, some syscalls block
 forever when performed on /vmunix (e.g. ls -la /vmunix, ipcs, ...)
 I have no output in uerf, messages, syslog ... but I think it may be
 related to the execution of xntpd (5.93).

 Any idea ?
