Now, thanks to Jon Bartelson <jonb_at_WPI.EDU>, Java works perfectly in Netscape
v4.x!

==> He wrote me those suggestions (that was the solution!):

        - Edit the file font.properties in the subdirectory java/classes
                ==> remove all that refered to sun or sunspecific
        - In the same directory, remove files font.properties.* (of course,
except the one you ve just modified!)
        
        And now it is right to work!
