Hello all,
DU4.0d & AS2100
I tried today to change the name of my host using :
hostname <newname>
uname -S <newname>
editing /etc/hosts with the <newname>
and rebooting.
Didn't work.
I relinked the kernel : doconfig
but the old name remains.
Could anybody please tell me
the right procedure to change
the name of the host under DU4.0d.?
I made a quick reading of the SysAdm
manual and man pages but...I couldn't
find a clue
Any help please will be deeply appreciated.
I strongly need to change this name
because of some required remote procedures
using trusted hosts to run
