I have recently set up several new Alpha PWS 433 machines running DU4.0D.
For some of my users, the included cc compiler works fine. However, on one
of
the machines, there are several header files missing causing compilations
to fail.
Since I haven't touched this machine since I turned it on, I assume it is
just a fluke
that these files are missing from the factory and they are included on all
the other
identical machines.
My question:
I would like to just reinstall the cc compiler on this machine from CD but
am not sure
which sets should be loaded and whether I should delete the old ones first.
Since this
is always included with the base OS, I've never had to install it. Could
someone please
point me in the right direction?
