We have an Alpha 1200, running 4.0d, that we want to use as an NSR 5.2
server. It currently is configured as follows:
Bus 0 (PCI0)
1 PCEB pceb0 Embedded bridge
2 S3 Trio64 vga0 Graphics card
3 DECchip 21140-AA tulip0 DE500
4 Qlogic ISP1020 isp0 SCSI (internal disk bay)
Bus 0 (PCI1)
1 NCR 53C810 ncr0 Embedded SCSI
The need here is to drive a TL894 from two FWD controllers and to add
FDDI for our database server backup network.
Three controllers need to be added.
(2) FWD SCSI controllers (DEC KZPSA)
(1) DEFPA FDDI Controller
Some questions:
Can I move the video card, DE500 and Qlogic controller to PCI1?
Would the FDDI controller work in the slot that the video controller
is currently in?
