Machine Check Code = 98

Hi - I'm getting repeated crashes of a DEC UNIX (4.0d) machine,
a 533 MHz Aspen-built LX-motherboard box.

In each case, there is no apparent warning, and the
/var/adm/messages log contains:

Oct 29 09:28:46 wallaby vmunix: Machine Check Processor Fatal Abort
Oct 29 09:28:47 wallaby vmunix: Machine Check Code = 98
Oct 29 09:28:47 wallaby vmunix: Processor detected hard error
Oct 29 09:28:47 wallaby vmunix: pal temp[0-1] =
fffffc8884051128 0000040000000000
Oct 29 09:28:47 wallaby vmunix: pal temp[2-3] =
fffffc00003e0f80 0000000000005200

followed by a lot of other pal-temp messages and memory states.

Can anybody tell me what this means? I've already tried rebuilding
the kernels, reseating the memory, boards, etc.

Many thanks,

Lev
