Out of Processes.

I have a Alpha running 4.0B and about every week a couple of days it gets
extremely slow and when you log into it it just says no more processes.
Somtimes it will improve, sometimes we just need to reboot it. Whats the
best way to troubleshoot and eliminate this problem? Thanks.
