Losing pages during printing to TCP IP Printers

Hi ,
I am having a peculiar problem. On Our Alpha Server 8200 running 4.0b
we have several TCP/IP and LAT printers some of them connected via WAN
of 2mb.

The problem is that we lose pages in a printjob when it is sent to TCPIP
printers, whereas it works OK on a LAT printer at the same location.
(Connected via WAN as mentioned ). The TCPIP printer behaviour is
intermittent, if the job is sent 2 -3 times it comes out correctly once
or not at all. But with LAT no problem. Have any one encountered these
type of probelms. Is it due to TCPIP time out or any setting on Routers
etc. Our Network guys are not able to get much insight. All the small
jobs of 2-3 pages come out OK on the TCP printer , but the problem is
with more than 10-20 pages.

Following is the printcap entry:

# LOGI_ADMIN Laser Printer at Kingston
logi_admin|lp137|LOGI_ADMIN|Logi_Admin:\
        :af=/usr/adm/lp137acct:\
        :ct=tcp:\
        :if=/usr/lbin/actewps2:\
        :lf=/usr/adm/lp137err:\
        :lp=_at_kiss_02ps.actew.oz.au/tcpnetprint:\
        :mc#20:\
        :mx#0:\
        :of=/usr/lbin/ln03rof:\
        :pl#66:\
        :pw#80:\
        :rw:\
        :sd=/usr/spool/lpd137:\
            :sh:\
        :xf=/usr/lbin/xf:

Entry for the port in /etc/services file:

tcpprint 3000/tcp tcpprint #For Netque Boxes
telnetprint 9100/tcp telnetprint # For HP Laserjet4m Printers
tcpnetprint 2501/tcp tcpnetprint # For NETJET Cards

Would like to hear from some one who had simlilar problem.

Thanks For your help

Regards

Raja
