ifconfig alias in rc.config

I want to add more than one alias to an interface in rc.config.
Anybody know the syntax.

IFCONFIG_1="10.0.0.1 netmask 255.255.255.0 aliaslist 10.0.1.1,10.0.2.1"

is what I would have guessed from the man, but that doesn't
seem to work.
