Hi!,
My advfs file system has crashed my machine with message:
panic (cpu 3): release_dirty_pg: log half full
Unfortunetly after reboot my machine is still crashing with following
messages:
... vmunix: ADVFS EXCEPTION
... vmunix: Module = ftx_routines.c, Line = 2804
... vmunix: log_donerec_nunpin: lgr_write failed
... vmunix: N1 = -1061
... vmunix: panic (cpu 2): log_donerec_nunpin: lgr_write failed
... vmunix: N1 = -1061
Machine is crashing whenever I try to mount, verify or even verify -F this
file system.
I've found in archives that this was a problem in '95 or '96 and it was
because of
defragmenting or migrating big files (i.e. with lots of extends). I'm sure
that my crash was caused by migrate command on one of my files, which is not
so importat (I can recreate it).
Any ideas how can I recover my filesystem or clean advfs transaction log or
delete the file that caused the crash?
PS.
My system is 4.0D with latest (one or two months old) patches loaded.
