Thanks to Bryan Lavelle (Bryan.Lavelle_at_digital.com) for pointing
out that patch #8 for 4.0B has been available for some time. I checked at

ftp://ftp.service.digital.com/patches/public/dunix/v4.0b/

and sure there is, duv40bas00008-19980821, and the README shows
many AdvFS fixes.
