Having typed nohup volassist -g masdg01 mirror massvol03 rzc58 rzc67 &
, I get the following message in the nohup.out file:
volassist: Unable to find the target mirror in massvol03
fsgen/volplex: Volume massvol03, plex massvol03-01, block 13012056: Plex
read: Error: Read failure
fsgen/volplex: Error changing plex massvol03-02:
Record not in disk group
fsgen/volplex: Attempting to cleanup after failure
The mirroring process involves mirroring a volume which has been striped
across two 34GB Hitachi luns onto two similar luns (yes, I didn't specify
that the mirror be striped).
The process has been successful already for three other volumes but,
alas, not this one.
Should I run verify on the pertinent file domain ?
Any suggestions are most welcome.
We are using an 8400 running v4.0D DU.
