I received several messages on this one, and what I ended up doing was
booting with the generic kernel and then rebuilding the normal kernel. That
did not take care of my problem; I continued to receive the panics when
trying to boot the normal kernel. What worked was when I turned off my new
4100 and arranged all of the cards in it in the same sequence as my existing
4100. I have been able to boot the new 4100 normally ever since then.
