In our ASE configuration we have two network interface per node. (
running both DU 4.0B patch BL9)
The first is known as primary network for ASE communications
(10.1.255.x), and the second is known as backup network for ASE
communications (10.254.254.x).

Failure of the primary network cause the ase daemons to automatically
communicate over the backup network and as far as I know this is the
side effect of the path_status_awk script.

The problem is, all our clients are on the same network as a service ,
i.e 10.1.5.x. And clients cannot be able to continue to access the
service if the primary network (10.1.255.x) is down. To achieve this
problem I run ASEROUTING on both system. But the problem still remain. I
mean our service packet is still addressed to primary interface card. I
guess I need to update o the arp entry of the service ip to the backup
network so that service IP switch to the backup network . Is this so
what is the procedure to achieve this problem? Any suggestions ?

thnx
