root access denied to NFS mount

Host A is mounting a read-only NFS mount from host B. When logged in as
root on host A, permission is denied when I attempt to access the mount
point. Regular users have proper access. I have an almost identical setup
that goes in the other direction (host B is mounting a read-only NFS mount
from host A) that works without any problems. I read something about the
no_root_squash option for linux based NFS but I can't find any reference to
this in any DEC UNIX documentation. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Allen Belk
