Getting popassd to work with yppasswd on DEC UNIX 4.0a

I have to get the poppassd program to work with yppasswd. This will allow
the users to change the yp passwords through the Eudora program.

The problem I have is that the poppassd.c file that I got from DEC
requires the C2 security, and will not compile on my machine. There is an
error message about a missing .h file, and the compile fails.
  BTW: DEC UNIX 4.0a

The standard poppassd.c that I get from Eudora.com compiles and runs OK,
but will not use either the local passwd or the yppasswd. It always returns
a 500 error message.

Is there someone out there that
  A) has a poppassd that will run on DEC UNIX 4.0a AND uses yppasswd
  B) what modifications do I need to make to the poppassd to successfully
exec the passwd or the yppasswd programs?

I know that DEC gives you poppassd.c with the IASS kit, and seems to be
on the DEC 4.0d release. That is the one that DEC sent me, but it will not
compile on my 4.0a machine.

Thanks
