Hi,
I'm experiencing the following error when I do a
backup of Oracle archive logs, using NSR with the
Oracle module, and Oracle's EBU facility :

EBU-3526: Operating System Error in semget
  on 12/16/1998 09:38:57 [ 27130 : briralloc ]
EBU-503: Additional Operating System information, error 22: Invalid argument
  on 12/16/1998 09:38:57 [ 27130 : briralloc ]
EBU-4280: Memory allocation for asynchronous I/O buffers and structures
failed
  on 12/16/1998 09:38:57 [ 27130 : briralloc ]
BFS in progress "42820913819122" cancelled on 16-DEC-98 09:38

There are appoximately 650 archive logs which are being
backed up. It bombs within minutes after starting. The process
works when there are fewer archive logs; like 50.

I've increased the following parameters since it seems to be
a problem in this area :

        AIO_MAX_NUM, AIO_TASK_MAX_NUM, AIO_MAX_PERCENT
        SIGQUEUE_MAX_NUM, AIO_LISTIO_MAX_NUM
which are in the RT configuration group.

I've spoken to both Digital and Oracle support, but still have
        no resolution.
I'm posting this question here because it seems to be
an OS problem, and not an Oracle one.

        The version specifics : DU 4.0D, NSR 5.2., EBU2.2 , Database Module
2.1B

        Any help would be appreciated.
                                        THANKS.
