Regards, managers !
I thought I'd share with you all what Bill Strecker says about DTJ, my mail
included at the end:
attached mail follows:
Thank you for writing your thoughts on the end of the Digital Technical
Journal. Many of us (of which I include myself) who were involved in
starting DTJ are sorry to see it end. The decision was not an easy one for
Compaq but ultimately reflected - in this era of razor thin margins for
computers - a tradeoff between spending resources on engineers or spending
resources on the DTJ. The tradeoff was made in favor of engineers.

Subject: The end of Digital Technical Journal
Regards,
To my great disappointment i register that your splendid magazine, Digital
Technical Journal is to be retired. I have found the magazine a very good
source on technical information and upfront IT research projects. I
sincerely hope that you can find a way to continue, perhaps in a for you
more suitable design, this excellent journal.
