Greetings,

I've got an alpha 2100 with a DAC960 RAID card in it. The 4-disk RAID
5 diskset has a failed drive that is giving me problems.

I had the failed drive removed and replaced with a new, fresh unit and
then started swxrmgr (v1.1.1) under X. Selecting
Management->Make Optimal results in an error box telling me 'No device
can be selected for the current drive array operation'.

After replacing the failed drive clicking on the FLD drive box it give
me a 'A device is configured but not physically present at this
location' message.

What am I doing wrong?

Am I going to have to take the system down to make the RAID controller
let me rebuild the RAID-5 set properly?

Thanks,
