Hello,

I've just got the CD with Internet Alphaserver System Software for Digital
Unix version 3.4.

Following the instructions, I begin the installation and get an html page
with all the subsets mandatory/optional.

One of the mandatory software is Apache V1.2.4 Web server. On my system
version 1.2.5 is alredy installed and it's not possible to cancel the
installation of 1.2.4.

It could be the same for Perl or some required subsets. It seems that
Digital didn't think about people having already installed software through
other ways and it's difficult to use this procedure.

Could it be adapted in a future release ?

Daniel
