Dear managers,

I have a problem with our alpha 2000/233 running Digital Unix 3.2C. I had
to shut down the system on Saturday due to a power outage scheduled for
Monday. On Monday, the system was turn on again. The usually system messages
were not displayed in the console, and once the Unix login screen popped up
the mouse and the keyboard didn't work. I haven't made any changes recently.
Also I have read through the /usr/var/adm/messages file and compared the
system messages written on Monday with messages from previous boots.
The only difference is the line:
                                WARNING: clock gained 2 days

Does anyone know what has happened?

Thanks, I'll summarize.
