SWXCR drive stuck in WOL mode

Greetings,

This afternoon I replaced a RZ29B in a SWXCR Raid-5 disk set because
it was throwing soft errors every day. I did:

1. Marked drive as failed

2. Removed drive

3. Waited a couple minutes

4. Inserted fresh RZ29B

5. Initiated Rebuild of the RAID 5 set.

The rebuild completed successfully to 100% and then told me it failed
because the source drive had bad block errors and left the new drive
in WOL (write only) state. During the rebuild one of the other drives
in the RAID-5 threw 5 soft errors.

Did these soft errors cause the problem with the rebuild?

The SWXCR manuals indicate I can just 'Make Optimal' the new drive and
everything should be OK. I tried to do this with the online utility
but it would not allow the operation saying 'No Device can be selected
for current drive array operation'.

Am I going to have to take the system down and use the standalone
utility to fix this?

Thanks,
