Is there any comprehensive document on how patch maintenance
scripts function?
I have hesitated to apply a second patch kit because I don't
know how the updates are managed. Are the scripts
smart enough to know what is applied already? Is backup
overwritten? If so, is backing out of a level 4 patch possible
after you have done a level 6 patch? Do you have to save
a seperate backup directory for each level you apply. Is
the script good enough to let you do that? Does level 6
encorporate level 5 patch, or do you have to do 5 before 6?
