The solution was to upgrade the firmware to version 5.0 BUT
when you try to do that on the AS1000A 5/333 you have the following strange
message :
update rev v5.0-101 is less than current rev v4.6-227 ????
answer Y to the continue message and the upgrade is OK.
When I've rebooted the line is now :
tu0: console mode: selecting 100BaseTX (UTP) port: full duplex
It seems that even in adding speed 200 in /etc/rc.config to the line :
IFCONFIG_0="160.228.120.190 netmask 255.255.192.0 speed 200"
there is something else perharps on my switch.
The ifconfig tu0 command displays :
tu0: flags=c63<UP,BROADCAST,NOTRAILERS,RUNNING,MULTICAST,SIMPLEX>
inet 160.228.120.190 netmask ffffc000 broadcast 160.228.127.255 ipmtu 1500
And it's not obvious to see if the speed 300 is on.
