Hello everyone. I have added as Seagate 23 GB hard drive to
my Dec running Digital UNIX V4.0C. At the boot prompt show dev
recognizes the drive. Using ./MAKEDEV I can create the dev file
as rz22 (the device is Bus 2 Target 0 (2x8+6=22)). SCU show edt
gives "Device: ST423451W Bus: 2, Target: 6, Lun: 0, Type: Direct
Access". My problem is that newfs /dev/rrz22c fails. I have
included the relevant info below. Notice the warning line reported
by scu -f /dev/rrz22c show capacity about ST423451W vs ST423451.
Can anyone suggest a fix? I will summarize and post.
