set hostname won't work under 4.0D

Hello Managers,

I just recognized on my 4.0D machine an strange behaivor while setting a
new hostname for my system.
There seems no update of the hostname at the /etc/rc.config - and so the
machine had his former name after a reboot.

Could somebody from Digital (Tom?) confirm this - would be usefull for
all other upcoming 4.0D managers.
