SCSI questions

Can anyone give me the speed differences between SCSI, SCSI-2, Fast SCSI,
Fast SCSI-2, and Ultra-Wide SCSI?

What happens if you have two Ultra Wide-SCSI drives first on the chain,
then at the end, a Narrow SCSI, using a cable to adapt down to the smaller
bus. I know if you put the Narrow SCSI first on the chain, it would
bottle neck at Narrow SCSI speeds for the rest of the chain, but if at the
end, does just the last drive get the slower bus, or does it effect the
whole chain!?

Thanks!
Dan
