Hi DU Admins
About a week ago I asked if anyone knew of an equivalent Canon
or other make toner cartridge to replace the LN17x-AA for a Digital
LN17ps printer.
I received a couple o replies saying that it uses a Laserjet
92291A cartridge, the same as the HP III Si, HP 4 Si and
HP 4 Si MX. That would have made it a Canon EPN.
After a further response from Daniel Clare I now believe that
information was wrong and due to a misunderstanding between me
and the respondents.
I was asking about a LN17ps but the replies related to the
Printserver 17 also known as a LPS17. Although the names
are similar they are different printers and may not take the
same cartridge. The Digital part number for the LPS17 cartridge
is LPS1X-AD.
Sorry for spreading misinformation. I still don't know what
cartridge can be used in the LN17ps. However Nicolas CLERC
was able to tell me that the printer is built by Xerox and
the equivalent model is a Xerox DocuPrint 4517.
