We do not have advanced security enabled on an AS4000 with DU4.0B
but seem unable to log into the machine with either ftp or pop3. Telnet,
however, works fine. Any suggestions?
To whomever reminded me that cc does come with DU4.0B, I beg having been
mislead.
First, our !$!_at_$% salesman believed only kernel recompile was possible
without the development option, then I tried sources with configure scripts
which would first find the non-functional gcc included in the freeware tree
and then exit without trying cc. Whether all necessary libraries are
included is another matter I haven't yet verified, but at least patch
compiles...
