DLT firmware issues

Regards managers,

I have downloaded the OEM-1 firmware from Quantum for DLT2000. My question
is: can I use this firmware in a DEC TZ87 or are there any physical
differences between the TZ87/DLT2000 so that the drive will be corrupted if
impose this firmware on it ?
